Liquid cooled Red.
I'm interested in this cooling design that Red has implemented.Driving air through the body to cool the circuitry got me thinking.
A while back I posted this image...
In the post I was discussing modularity, but at the time the operating temp. of Red One was a 'hot' topic of conversation. So I included a very dodgy scheme to introduce liquid cooling to this concept.
Reds new designs got me thinking that liquid cooling could be introduced to the Epic and Scarlet.
First up, separate all the modules with spacers. Anything running current will introduce heat so a bit of passive air cooling can't hurt.
Then replace the fans in the Brain with ones more suited to driving liquid.
Hook up tubes to the Brains cavity, and in the first case, circulate the liquid through an on-board radiator.
And in the second, run the tubing off to and external refrigeration unit.
