(cont.) Dave's compact camera concept: The Dock
I hate recharging docks.
They sit on a desk and get in the way (or manage to lose themselves,) until I need a battery recharged.
If we need a recharging dock for this concept, lets give it some extra jobs to do.
Such as having extra output jacks so the we keep the cam casing as simple as possible (not a new idea I know.)
Mount the cam on top of the dock, and hook that into our edit station, and also recharge the batteries.
This Dock concept has two connectors for recharging batteries, and a connector to mount the cam on top.
What if we put a thread in the bottom of the dock and mount that on the tripod?
Now we have AC, extra ports, and the ability to exchange batteries.
