Covid 19 : Day 10 of lock-down two: Anti-vaxxer reality check
Last week in Australia the anti lock-down troglodytes emerged from the swamp to have a public tantie in the streets. They seem to be in opposition to any sort of societal reaction to the pandemic.
In the social media space I’ve noticed that they are a little bit upset at the reaction from liberally-minded people. They seem to think that the lefties should be more empathetic to their cause.
Liberals tend towards embracing hope rather than fear. They feel that what is good for society is good for the individual.
Anti-vaxxers are literally defined by their fear, and their belief in the individuals ‘right’ to not participate in society's control of the virus.
Anti-vaxxers seem to think that their cause is as justified as fighting for equal pay, halting the effects of climate change, or nurses and teachers going out on strike for better work conditions.
They see the’ left’ out on the streets protesting for minorities all the time. ‘Why aren't they supporting our action?’ they cry!
Because all these other minorities have problems based in the real world, not in a paranoids fever dream.
