Covid 19 : Day 8 of lock-down two: The gardening ep.

Next week, the middle bed gets flattened for the summer tomato crop

All of this will have to be moved or eaten by next week.

This chinese cabbage has gone to seed real hard. I’m hoping to get some seed from it.

In the first garden I’ve established a practise transplant patch. I’m curious to see which plants don’t mind being moved about. Bok choy and beetroot don’t mind a change of situation. Spinach not so month.

Started a major relocation program for the beetroot out of the future tomato patch

Carrots doing well and dug up some for dinner.

Interesting to find that the snow peas are doing really well over the winter months

The first garden has been lying fallow under a layer of horse shit and needed some weeding.

I don’t think the garlic is doing as well this year, as it has in the past.

Finished off the day by making pumpkin soup
